What is the Agniveer Scheme?
The Agnipath Scheme was launched by the Government of India for youth recruitment into the armed forces for a 4-year service tenure. Under this, Agniveers are selected for various roles including General Duty (GD), Clerk, Tradesmen, and Technical categories in the Indian Army.
